Input Gate Notes is a short set of notes about request validation in generative video APIs — what the model agrees to look at, in what combinations, and at what sizes.
It exists because the interesting failures in this category are not model failures. A model failure is honest: something was generated, it was wrong, and you can look at it. An input-gate failure is a sentence like InvalidParameter arriving two seconds after you pressed a button, and the sentence almost never tells you which rule you broke.
The notes are deliberately narrow. They are about what goes in, not about prompting, output quality, or which model to pick.
Method. Every limit quoted here was read from Alibaba Cloud Model Studio's own Wan 3.0 API reference, and each page carries the date it was read. Where a rule is inferred from an error string rather than stated in the documentation, the page says so. Limits that make the product look worse stay in.
